Maitland Gilbert & Sullivan & Musical Society aims to provide high quality musical theatre productions to the Hunter Valley. Having been established for more than 45 years, the Society has earned a great reputation in the area and strives to uphold it.
We stage two main-stage productions each year (April/May and September/October). We also often have extra "mini" or "side" productions and concerts occurring throughout the year such as "Nunsense" and "Nunsense 2" as well as a Rodgers and Hammerstein concert, Christmas concerts and many other fun events.
We also plan to start offering workshops in all facets of theatre from acting and singing to theatrecraft and stage management. Keep any eye out on our website for updates about these workshops.
There is rarely a moment during which we are not rehearsing or performing a show.
